Cover Page

About our cover: Hope; painting by Cid Palacio, a member of the ART for Cancer Group.

The art on the cover of this issue, “Hope,” was created by Cid Palacio as a reminder to all those touched by cancer to never lose hope: Hope that the treatment will work. Hope that you will be a survivor statistic. Hope that one day a cure will be found.
Cid donates 100% of all profit from her art to the ART for Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization that she launched in 2008. The Foundation offers free creative programs for cancer patients and their families, and supports research into the causes, control, and cure of cancer.
